I love to photograph the big, small and in-between moments that tell a story.

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember. I feel it’s magical how a photograph can take you back in time, bring a moment, a feeling or a person right back to you. I love capturing the now, knowing that one day those photographs will become memories.

My mahi has always centred around people, communication and storytelling. I’ve worked as a teacher, charity fundraising manager and photographer, and lived in New Zealand, England and Scotland. Each experience has shaped how I find what matters and tell stories through photographs.

After stepping away from photography while I underwent cancer treatment, I’ve returned with an even clearer sense of what matters to me: people, connection, creativity and making moments count.

I’m also mum to two wonderful sons, a novice gardener and a lover of good food — especially anything I can grow myself.
